Here are some scenarios that you can use:
Scenario #1: health & beauty and food items (earn RR)
Buy 1 Vitamin Shampoo – $3.99 (earns a $3.99 RR)
Buy 1 Gum toothbrush – $3.49 (earns a $3.49 RR) – there is a .75/1 coupon for this in the 6-21 SS insert
Buy 2 Listerine Smart Rinse – $4.89 (earns a $4 RR) – there is a BOGO free coupon in the 8-2 SS insert 2
Buy 6 Pop Tarts – $2/each – use 2 $1/2 coupons from the 8-2 Kelloggs insert and two .55/1 printable
Buy 2 Kelloggs cereals – there were several $1/2 coupons in the 8-2 Kelloggs inserts
Buy 2 Rice Krispie treats – $2/each – use $1/2 coupons from the 8-2 Kelloggs insert
Toal (after coupons) = $27.52
Use $5/25 coupons = $22.52 – earn $3.99 RR (for Vitamin Shampoo), $3.49 RR (for Gum toothbrush), $4 RR (for Listerine), $5 RR (for Pop Tarts), $3 RR (for cereals), send in for $10 Kellogg’s MIR (total of $19.49 in RR, $6.96 moneymaker after RR and MIR)
Scenario #2: diapers
Buy 3 packages Pampers diapers = $8.99/each
Buy eggs (priced at $.99) or a school supply item (priced at $.99)
Buy Sharpie highlighter 6 pk ($.29) – there are lots of small “filler” items you can use – I just happen to need these
Use 3 $1 coupons from 8-2 PG insert (there are also various $3 and $4 coupons from home mailers as well as the $2 coupons from the PG Year of Savings booklet)
Total after coupons = $25.25
Use $5/25 coupon = $20.25
Scenario #3: school supplies
Buy 2 backpacks – $19.99/each (BOGO free this week)
Buy 5 school supply items priced at $.99/each (choose from markers, scissors, notebooks, glue sticks, pens, etc. – see ad for details)
Buy Sharpie highlighter 6 pk – $.29
Total = $25.23
Use $5/25 coupon = $20.23
