Get free or cheap Nivea body wash at Walmart or Target!

If you were lucky enough to get the $3/1 Nivea for Men and Nivea for Women coupons in your RP insert yesterday, then you may also be lucky enough to get it for FREE or close to free at Walmart or Target.

Here’s the breakdown:

Use the $3/1 Nivea for Men coupon (4-17 RP)

Final Price = FREE!

At Target, the regular price on the Nivea body wash for Men and body wash for Women is $3.04-$3.99.  There was also a $1/1 Nivea skin care coupon in the beauty mailer recently.  So, if you have that, here’s the breakdown:

Free Similac at Walmart!

Did you get the $5 off and $3 off Similac coupons in yesterday’s Smart Source insert?  If you did, you can get FREE or almost free Similac at Walmart! (and it might even be a “moneymaker” for you)

The regular price of the Similac Ready to Feed 1 quart bottles is $3.84-$3.89! (Keep in mind that pricing may vary by store and region) Remember the changes to the Walmart coupon policy that I posted about here? They allow for OVERAGE now!  This means that if your coupon is more than the amount of the product you are purchasing, you can either get cash back, or it will be applied toward other items in your transaction!

Here’s the breakdown of this deal:

Buy 1 Similac Ready to Feed – $3.84

Use $5/1 coupon

Get $1.16 in overage!

OR

Buy 2 Similac Ready to Feed – $3.84/each

Use $5/1 coupon
Use $3/1 coupon

Get $.32 overage!

Walmart’s coupon policy update

A few weeks ago, I posted here about Walmart’s updated coupon policy.  The new policy has generated lots of excited, especially because you can now get “overage” when you use coupons there and buy a product using a coupon that has a higher value than the price of the actual product.  The other item that generated excitement was the opportunity to use store catalina coupons.  I was able to do this at my store when I tried, but I have gotten e-mails from others who have had mixed experiences.

Walmart has now updated their coupon policy to include the following clarification about the catalina coupons they will accept:

Checkout coupons (“Catalinas”)

  • Printed at our competitors’ registers for dollar/cents off on a specific item
  • Must have “Manufacturer Coupon” with specific item requirements printed on them
  • Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer
  • Must have a valid expiration date
  • Must have a scannable bar code
  • Are acceptable in black and white
  • May not be duplicated

Because it now specifics “specific item” this means you cannot use Register Rewards from Walgreens or OYNO catalinas from your grocery stores.  This is a bummer, but it’s still exciting that you can get overage!
