Free Thomas the Train at Toys ‘R Us

If your kids love Thomas the Train, you have a chance to get one for FREE at Toys ‘R Us. I found this hot freebie on Freebies 4 Mom.

The coupon can be used in store only and is valid on Saturday, 3/21 and Sunday 3/22 only (my guess is that you’ll be out of luck if you wait until Sunday). Click here to print the coupon.

Here’s the fine print: One coupon per guest. While supplies last. No substitutions or rainchecks. Not valid on prior purchases. Coupon must be surrendered at time of purchase.

Daily in store deals for 12/23/08

Kroger: Huggies diapers/Pull Ups are on sale this week (through Tuesday in my stores, YMMV depending on how your ad runs) for $9.99/each. When you use your card, you get an instant $3 off (through 12/23). There are $1 and $1.50 manufacturer’s coupons out there from the inserts and home mailers and $2 Pull Ups coupons (printable, inserts, and mailers). There are also coupons that you can load onto your Kroger card for $1.50 and $1 off at Cellfire.com and Shortcuts.com. I think the cheapest way to do this is to buy 2 packages of Huggies diapers (one regular/one Supreme). Use the $1 off manufacturer’s coupons if you have them. The $1.50 and $1 will come off from Cellfire and Shortcuts. The $3 will come off instantly. If you have all the coupons, it should be $11.48 for 2 packages. If you have receipts for at least 5 packages, you can send in for the rebate from Caregivers making it $9.48 for 2 packages (or $4.74/package). **You can only do this deal two times per transaction.** If you are doing this deal, there are $2/2 coupons you can print from the blue banners at the top and on the sidebar of the blog.

Philadelphia cream cheese is reportedly on sale 10/$10 in some areas. There is a $1/2 printable coupon you can use to get 2 packages of cream cheese for $1. Here’s the link.

You can also get free Cottonelle toilet paper with the coupons from Cellfire and Shortcuts along with your manufacturer’s coupons and free Colgate Total toothpaste with the $1.50 Cellfire coupon and your printable $1.50 coupons.

Gymboree Outlet and Gymboree stores – Save up to 60% off on marked down items during their Semi-annual sale.

Old Navy has their performance fleece blankets as a door buster for $3 today. The blankets come in a number of colors and are normally $10/each. You can access the details here.

In case you missed it last week, it is still on sale for $7.99 (through 12/27). If you have a $5 RR and use the $1 coupon, you only pay $1.99 OOP (well, a little more because you will have to have a filler to use both coupons). Some people are reporting they have found $2 peelies on them. There is a $5 Easysaver rebate this month (#20, I believe) and the $5 manufacturer’s rebate, so it ends up being an $8.01 moneymaker if you have the coupons I mentioned. Daily In store deals for 12/20/08 – So many deals, so little time!

If you can work some shopping into your busy last weekend before Christmas schedule, there are some great deals today.

I found this one on FW:


Toys ‘R Us has a number of doorbusters as a part of their two day sale. Shop 6 am-1 pm today to get these deals. One of the things that they are offering is the Disney Tinkerbell movie for $9.99. There is a $3 printable coupon here, so you can get the movie for $6.99. If you have the Toys ‘R Us ad, you can also try price matching at Walmart if your store is out of stock.

*$2/1 Archer Farms ham – use to purchase the ham steaks which are ranging in price from about $2.02-$2.50 (so they will be .02 to .50/each after the coupon)
*$1/1 Fresh Cauliflower or Broccoli – Broccoli is on sale 3/$4 this week which makes it .33 each after the coupon
*$1/2 Kellogg’s Pop Tarts – YMMV, but the boxes of these are $1.78 in my stores. Combine this coupon with the $1/2 manufacturer’s coupons that are out there and you pay .78/box of Pop Tarts
*$1/2 Pillsbury refrigerated baked goods – There are biscuits in a green package (you can view them here) that are priced at $1.07 at my stores. If you buy 6 of these and use 3 $1/2 printables combined with the .75/3 manufacturer’s coupon (blinkie), you will pay .32/can. If you don’t have the printables and buy 2, it’s .57/can which still isn’t a bad deal. My stores have also had a number of the ready to bake cookies on sale 2/$4. There are $1.50/2 blinkie coupons, so you pay $1.50 for two packages of ready to bake cookie dough.
*$1/2 Quaker cereal – Life has been on sale 2/$4 at my stores. Combine this with a $1/2 manufacturer’s coupon and pay $1/box (this definitely isn’t the best price ever for cereal, but if you like Life, it’s not a bad deal).

Keep an eye out for the Rayovac alkaline batteries in your $1 spot. Use the printable coupon here to get free batteries.

Walgreens 2 day doorbuster deals: (this ends today)

*Webkinz Lil’ Kinz pets – BOGO (priced at $6.99)

*Buy 2, get 2 free – kids toys (priced at $6.99/each)

*Buy 1 @ $6.99, get 2 free – Cafe Gel candle (11 oz) or Patriot Candles Mini Reed Diffuser

*50% off digital photo frames (3.5 inch = $29.99, 7 inch = $39.99) – There is a HOT deal on the digital photo frames. This one was posted by Jen (**Kooopons**) on the BBC board.

Both of these frames are eligible for the $20 Easysaver rebate this month. You can get both frames for $29.98 after rebate (or $25.98.99 if you do the rebate on a Walgreens gift card with the bonus 10% back). If you only buy one, the 7 inch will be $19.99 after rebate and the 3.5 inch will be $9.99 after rebate). If you haven’t done the Easysaver rebates before, it is super easy because it is all online. Basically, you just have to enter your receipt and enter the # in.

There was a $5 off coupon in Sunday’s P&G insert. After this coupon, it will be $6.24. Use a $5 RR to pay (if you have one) or just pay the $6.24. There is a mail in rebate from Olay for a $15 gift card when you buy 2 Regenerist products. Here’s the link.

FREE Energizer Rechargeable charger – It is on sale for $7.99 this week. There is a $5 Easysaver rebate. There is also a $5 MIR from the manufacturer. Now that the Walgreens Easysaver rebates are online, you can enter the receipt and then submit the original receipt for the manufacturer’s rebate. There were also $1 off coupons in the 12/14 SS inserts. If you use one of your $5 Holiday RR to pay for it, it ends up being an $8.01 moneymaker! It is a $3.01 moneymaker without the Holiday RR and a $2.01 moneymaker without the manufacturer’s coupon.
