Target: kids Hanes socks for $2/package!

I didn’t get the Target weekly deals post done this week because we were on vacation, but I wanted to highlight this HOT deal that they’ve got this week.

This week, you get a $5 Target gift card when you buy any 4 bonus packages of of Hanes socks or underwear. There are also $.50/1 peelies on the sock packages, which make this an awesome deal! Around my house, we can NEVER have too many socks because they always seem to disappear!

Here’s the breakdown on this deal:

Buy 4 Hanes 6+1 Kids socks – $4/each

Use $1/1 Target printable
Use 4 $.50/1 manufacturer’s coupons (peelies found on the socks)

Spend $13 OOP, get a $5 Target gift card

Target: Deal on Kraft salad dressing with NEW printable coupons!

Kraft has released a new Target printable coupon here for $1/2 Kraft salad dressing! Pair that with the Buy 2, Get 1 free coupon that Target has for Kraft salad dressing and the $.55/1 Kraft printable you’ve got yourself a great deal!

Here’s the breakdown on this deal:

Buy 3 Kraft salad dressings – $1.69/each

Use 3 $.55/1 manufacturer’s printable coupon (you will need access to 2 computer to print this many)
Use B2G1 free Target coupon (-$1.69)
Use $1/2 Target printable coupon

Spend $.73 OOP ($.24/each!)

I found the $1/2 Target coupon under the zip code 78660 when I sorted by “Foods.” Hurry and grab yours before it’s gone. It won’t last long! PLEASE NOTE: YMMV on using the B2G1 free and the $1/2 together since Target’s coupon policy changed. I’m not sure how that will work out, but I’m going to go today to test it out.

Plus, here are two yummy summer salad recipes to help you use up all this salad dressing you’re buying!

Chicken Spinach Bow Tie Pasta Salad ~ I got this recipe from What’s on My Menu and it has become a favorite for potlucks and family gatherings!

Ingredients:
baby spinach
grilled chicken
bow tie pasta
pesto
feta cheese
toffee glazed almond accents
diced tomatoes

-make the dressing by mixing equal parts Italian dressing and Caesar dressing

Taco salad ~ This is a pretty basic recipe that my mom used to make all of the time when I was a kid – it sounds a little bit strange, but when you mix it all together, it’s yummy!

Ingredients:
Iceberg lettuce, shredded
Tomatoes
1 can light red kidney beans, drained
Ground beef, browned (I mix mine with a little bit of taco seasoning as I cook it)
Corn tortilla chips (crushed)
Shredded cheddar cheese (8 oz bag)
Thousand Island salad dressing (chilled)

Mix all ingredients together and serve.

Target Top 25 Deals for the week of 7/24

Here’s my Target “Top 25? deals of the week. Keep in mind that pricing may vary by area. Always check your local ad to confirm that they have the “weekly deals.” This was a slow ad week and many of these deals are not in the weekly ad but are “deals” because of “stacking” of Target coupons and manufacture’s coupons, which means your market may vary in terms of pricing – sometimes pricing varies from one store to the next within my own area! Thanks to Totally Target for the heads up on many of the price cuts! Make sure you check out the changes to the Target coupon policy here. Also, Target printables can disappear VERY quickly(sometimes within a few hours), s0 make sure you print the ones you want as soon as they come out!

Get Text Alerts from Target: receive coupons, deals, and weekly ad reminders on your mobile phone – use a barcode that can be scanned at check-out for multiple one time only coupon deals throughout the month. The text alerts for mobile coupons appear to be released on Sundays and appear to be valid for one week only (when the new round is released on Sundays, the old round disappears)

Now, you can save 5% when you use your Target Red Card. (This is valid in stores only)

Target now offers price matching. You can check out their policy here.

At Target, you can use one Target coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per item.The printable Target coupons now state “one per transaction” meaning you can only use one “like” coupon per transaction. The Target coupons from the inserts do not have this wording and neither do the Target toy coupons. You can read/print their coupon policy here.

They are also offering a .05 credit when you bring in your own reusable shopping bag!
