I thought maybe I’d take a break from Kroger after the Mega Sale. I lost track of the number of items I ended up with over two weeks, but I think it was close to 100.
I just looked at the ad for this week and it’s great, too! There are lots of deals and it’s a great time to stock up on several items.
Here are some of the highlights:
FREE FROZEN VEGETABLES!
Kroger, Bird’s Eye Steamfresh, and Green Giant boxed veggies are all 10/$10
I did this deal last year and was counting on it happening again, so I stocked up on coupons as they came out. There are .35/1 Bird’s Eye coupons that came out in the 10/12 SS insert and .50/2 Green Giant boxed vegetables that came out in the 10/5 GM insert. These coupons double and triple giving you free or almost free veggies.
*You can load coupons for the Green Giant vegetables to your card on Shortcuts.com and there are printable coupons on Pillsbury.com, Bettycrocker.com, and Eatbetteramerica.com
Cheap stuffing
Stovetop stuffing is on sale 10/$10 (you don’t need to buy 10). There are buy 4, get one free tear pads in many stores. There are plenty of recipes that you can use stuffing in or with even after Thanksgiving.
Cheap batteries
If you haven’t done the CVS deal yet (or you just need more batteries), Duracell batteries are 10/$10. There are .75/1 coupons and .50/1 peelie coupons, so your batteries will be free or close to it.
Libby’s canned pumpkin – this is on sale 10/$10. There are .50/2 and $1/2 coupons on Verybestbaking.com making the cans very cheap!
Hershey’s giant candy bars – They are on sale 10/$10. There are BOGO Special Dark coupons that came out in the inserts recently.
Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup – They are on sale 4/$3. There are .30/3 coupons which will double making it .52/can.
Nabisco and Wheat thins crackers – They are on sale 2/$4. There are $1/2 printable coupons here making them $1.50/each:

General Mills Chex cereal – They are on sale for $2.50/each. There are $1/2 printable coupons on coupons.com (see the blue banner on the right) and $1/2 loadable coupons on Shortcuts.com making them $1.50/box.
Pillsbury crescent and cinnamon rolls– They will be on sale for $1.52/each. There is a loadable .50/1 coupon on Shortcuts.com. There have been several coupons for .35/1 in recent inserts which will triple making them .47/each.
Philadelphia cream cheese – on sale for $1.25
There were $1/3 coupons in a recent insert and there is a catalina deal going on:
Buy Philadelphia brick cream cheese during purchase dates and save up to $4 with coupon off your next shopping order. 11/7-11/30
Buy 5=$2
Buy 6=$3
Buy 7(or more)=$4
Buy 6 bricks, use 2 $1/3 coupons. Spend $5.50, but get $3 off your next purchase.
If you haven’t gotten an Thanksgiving turkey yet, the Jenni-O turkeys are .39/lb with an additional $20 purchase (this is the pre-coupon amount!)
How does shortcuts.com work?
Shortcuts.com is kind of like the P&G Esaver coupons. You register your Kroger card on their site and then load coupons onto your card. They come off automatically at check-out. You can use paper manufacturer's coupons in addition to the Shortcuts coupons, too. There are lots of great coupons right now that go with this week's deals, so you should check it out!
