My Coupon Hunter has posted the coupons that will be in the 3/14 inserts, so you can get them now! There will be two inserts in this Sunday’s paper ~ one Red Plum and one Smartsource.
Here are some codes you can use on the site as well:
HOT – 10% off orders over $5
SHIP – Free shipping on orders over $5 (you can combine this with the code above)
TEN – 10% off orders over $5
PRIORITY – Free shipping on orders over $15
Here are the “hot” coupons I see:
RED PLUM:
$.50/1 Band Aid Products (expires 5/31/10) – get these for cheap at Walgreens and Target this next week and then submit for the Princess and the Frog $5 rebate (if you’re planning on buying the movie)
$1/1 Herbal Essences shampoo, conditioner, or styling product (expires 4/30/10) – pair this with the free styling product WYB shampoo, conditioner or styling aid and get two products for cheap (these coupons expire on 3/31 and you can find them on My Coupon Hunter, too!)!
$.75/1 McCormick Spice, Herb, Extract, or Food Color (expires 4/11/10) – there are many McCormick spices that are in the $1 range at Walmart, so you can get these for close to free with this coupon!
$1/1 Tropicana Trop50 orange juice (expires 5/31/10) – $1/1 orange juice coupons are hard to come by! This goes on sale for $2 fairly often, so you should be able to get it for $1 after coupon!
SMARTSOURCE:
$.35/1 Eggland’s Best eggs (expires 6/30/10) – if your grocery stores triple coupons, I can usually get these eggs for less than the store brand using the coupon
$.50/1 KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce or marinade (expires 5/15/10) – if your grocery stores double coupons, watch for 10/$10 sales and get this for free!
$2/1 Hidden Valley Farmhouse Originals dressing (expires 5/15/10) – Hidden Valley Ranch is our favorite dressing and coupons don’t come out very often, so I’m excited about this one!
$1/1 Lay’s New Potato Chips (expires 4/25/10) – I just tried these for the first time yesterday and they are good!
$.75/1 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner (expires 4/13/10) – these go on sale BOGO free at Walgreens about once a month so I pair that sale with two of these coupons to stock up!
I get this question, a lot:
Is it worth it to “buy” coupons when your goal is saving money? It seems kind of counterproductive.
If you are looking to stockpile items on a budget, the best way to do this is to pair coupons with sale prices and in order to really stockpile items, you are going to need multiple coupons. I know that some people buy multiple newspapers, but that doesn’t really “work” for me because then I have the extra work of coupon up with all of that paper. Using a coupon clipping service or eBay to get coupons is more time and cost effective for me because then I’m only getting coupons for the things that I want and need and they’re already clipped!
The savings far outweigh what I spend.
