Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).
Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Bass Pro Shops – Free weekend events vary by store location and include camping workshops, food sampling and more!
Barnes & Noble – Saturday, April 23rd at 1 1 a.m., storytime and activities featuring the children’s book Where’s The Party?.
Disney Store – Captain America In-Store Event! On Saturday, April 23 at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30 and Sunday, April 24 at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30, come dressed up as your favorite Marvel Super Hero and learn to draw Captain America’s shield. Minimum age for participation is 3 years. Event limited based on store capacity. Captain America In-Store Event only at select locations. Check with your local Store for details. Ask a Cast Member for details when you arrive.
Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, April 23rd from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids can make an April Showers Pop-up card
Lowes Build and Grow – The next class will be on Thursday, May 5th at 7 p.m., where kids can build a Chalkboard Planter. Class includes a free apron, goggles and patch. Register here for this class and to too upcoming classes.

Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – The next class will be on Saturday, May 7th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., where kids can build an Angry Birds Birdhouse. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Toys R Us – Saturday, April 23rd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Epic Hot Wheels Event in select stores. Guests get a FREE hot wheels collector car and test drive cars in “epic” tracks. Check here for participating stores.
Williams Sonoma Free Cooking Classes – This has been on my bucket list for a long time because I think my daughter would LOVE it! You do have to register in advance, but they’ve got the schedule posted for the whole month!
