Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).

Here are the free activities for the week:
Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Barnes & Noble – Saturday, September 12th at 11:00 a.m., Llama Llama Gram and Grandpa storytime and activities. Look here for a store near you.
Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, September 12th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids can make a What a Hoot Owl.
Lowes Build and Grow – The next workshop will be Saturday, September 26th at 10 a.m., where kids can make a fire truck with safety cards. Free apron, goggles and patch are included. Register for this class here
Michael’s Kids Club: Check back for fun classes for the whole family.
Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – The next class will be Saturday, October 3rd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., where kids can make a fire truck. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last

Toys R Us – Saturday, Sept. 12 from 12 – 2pm at ALL Toys”R”Us stores. Be among the first to test drive the new Skylanders Superchargers game before it launches on 9/20, PLUS get a FREE collectible poster!
Walmart Event Finder – enter your zip code to see what is going on in your area. Williams Sonoma Free Cooking Classes – This has been on my bucket list for a long time because I think my daughter would LOVE it! You do have to register in advance, but they’ve got the schedule posted for the whole month!
