Here are the free activities for the week:
American Girl – Summer Flower Anklet Craft. Your girl can put her best—and most fashionable—foot forward. This free event will let her create a tropical anklet for herself using colorful paper flowers. She can also craft an anklet just for her doll! Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8 and up.
– Celebrate summer reading with American Girl! At this craft event, your girl will decorate her own bookmark and summer reading log to keep track of all the great books she’ll read over break. Includes a doll-sized poster to take home. Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8 and up.
– Princess Bitty Baby Story Time. Share a story side by side! Listen with your little girl to a reading of Princess Bitty Baby, an enchanting fairytale complete with a princess, a dragon, and a frog. Enjoy a fun activity together, too. Free and open to the public. For girls ages 3 and up
Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Bank of America Free Museum weekend – Bank of America’s Museums on Us is offering cardholders a way to enjoy National Museum Month at some the most exciting cultural venues in the U.S. This weekend, June 7 and 8, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders can get free access to 150 participating museums in 92 cities.
Disney Store – Summer Play Days are coming to Disney Store! Join us for the kick off on Monday, June 2nd at 2pm and receive a FREE lanyard*. Store events include Art of Animation, Trivia, Story Time and Showtime. Stop by every week and receive a character button. Events take place every day from June 3rd to Sept 1st. *While supplies last. Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, June 7th from 11-3 pm, kids can make a Learn-to-Count Ladybug.
Lowes Build and Grow – The next class will be on Saturday, June 14th at 10 a.m. Kids can build Toothless from the new DreamWorks movie How to Train Your Dragon 2.. Register for this class as well as other future classes here
Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Summer Reading Program, now through July 17th. Kids who read any 8 titles from the recommended book list will receive a free book (supplies limited). Complete the challenge together by attending their weekly story time.
