Cooking With Kids Thursday: Lollipop Cookies

These lollipop cookies would be so much fun to make with the kiddos.  My kids love to roll out snakes with playdough so this is the perfect activity for them.  This would also be a great end of year gift to hand out to classmates.  Thanks to The Idea Room for the recipe!

Here’s what you need to make these:

• 3/4 cup butter, softened
• 3 ounces cream cheese
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•  2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
•  1/4 teaspoon salt
• assorted colors of paste food coloring
• 24 lollipop sticks
