I thought I’d share my Walmart experience “from the field” this week! You can check out my Walmart top 25 deals this week here for the scoop on the rest of the hot bargains for the week!
My total OOP for all of these items was $13.11 – not free, but they had a combined retail value of $36.73 and these are all items we will use, so I felt pretty good about it!
This was my first experience with price matching without ads (Walmart recently changed their policy so that you don’t have to bring in the ad when you price match). I have to admit that I was expecting a headache, but I was pleasantly surprised! I was price matching the Nabisco cookies (they were 4/$5 at Kroger) and the Kraft salad dressing (it was $1.49 at Randalls). The cashier not only price matched those items without any problems, but she also TOLD me about a deal at another grocery store on some of the produce items I was purchasing (not pictured) and automatically adjusted the price down on those items, too! WOW!
I was hoping to get cheap Cheese Nips and Benadryl (see the top 25 deals for details), but sadly they were sold out of both!
Here’s the breakdown on pricing for the other items I bought (remember to check out the Walmart top 25 weekly deals for more match-ups!):
