Free Family Friendly Events this weekend: Lakeshore, Lowe’s, Michaels, and Toys ‘R Us

Happy Friday! There are lots of fun, family friendly events this weekend!

Lakeshore Learning ~ Visit a participating Lakeshore Learning location and kids (ages 3 and up) can make a free Pot O’ Gold Bank on Saturday 3/13 from 11-3 pm.

Lowe’s ~ Lowe’s is offering a “Build and Grow Clinic” on Saturday, 3/13 from 10-11 a.m. This week, kids can make their own Tabletop basketball game. The first 50 kids to register and be present at the store at 10 a.m. will get a kit, aprons, and goggles. (Ages 5+ preferred)

Michael’s – The Knack is a program sponsored by Michael’s to help your kids explore their creativity using projects and crafts.  They have fun in-store events for kids and families to enjoy.  This week’s event is:  Free Birthday Party Preview & Wilton Brownie Make it and Take it – Saturday, 3/13 from 10 am-2 pm

Toys ‘R Us ~ Participating Toys ‘ Us locations are hosting a Barbie Mermaid party on Saturday, 3/13 from noon-3 pm.  “Make a splash and celebrate the release of Barbie in a Mermaid Tail with great activities and coloring fun!”  While you’re there, you can also pick up a Superstar Barbie for only $3 (while supplies last)! Get free Philadelphia Minis from Kraft First Taste!

If you haven’t signed up for Kraft First Taste yet, you really should check it out.  They typically have a great “freebie” offer each month where you get to try out new products.  In the past few months, I’ve gotten free coupons to try out products such as Double Stuf Oreo Cakesters, DiGiorno 200 Calorie Portions, and Nabisco Wheat Thins.
