Bank of America “Museums on Us” weekend ~ With your Bank of America card, you can get free admission to over 100 museums nationwide the first “full” weekend of every month.  This weekend (August 7th and 8th) is the next participating weekend.  Check out the participating locations for your area here.  It looks like The Children’s museum, zoo, and  Natural History Museum are all included in my area – WOW!

Home DepotKids Workshops ~ Saturday, 8/7 from 9 am-noon, kids ages 5-12 can build their own school bus pencil organizer!  In addition to a newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron!

Sam’s Club ~ If you’ve always wondered if a Sam’s Club membership is “worth it’ you can check them out for free this weekend!   Sam’s has others opportunities where you can shop without a membership card, but they usually add a surcharge to your purchase total which is kind of counterproductive in my opinion.  When you shop this weekend, there are no surcharges!
