Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).

Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Barnes & Noble – Saturday, October 10th at 11:00 a.m., Pete the Cat and the Bedtime Blues storytime and activities. Look here for a store near you.
-Saturday, October 10th is Star Wars Reads Day at Barnes and Noble. There will be trivia, giveaways and a special LEGO building event.
Disney Store – Friday, October 16th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm and Saturday, October 17th from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. You’re invited to Halloween Dress Rehearsal at Disney Store! Join Disney Store for a Halloween Party including crafts, games and a costume parade! Come dressed as your favorite Disney character & join the costume parade to get a FREE Halloween surprise! Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, October 10th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids can make a Not So Scary Scarecrow.
Lowes Build and Grow – Saturday, October 10th at 10 a.m., kids can make a Haunted Birdhouse. Free apron, goggles and patch are included. Register for this class here
Michael’s Kids Club: Check back for fun classes for the whole family.
Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Saturday, October 10th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Star Wars Reads Day. Listen to your favorite Star Wars story read aloud and enjoy special crafts, giveaways and snacks. Come dressed as your favorite character and enjoy posing in a Star Wars photo booth.

Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – The next class will be Saturday, November 7th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., where kids can make a Veterans Day Jet. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last

Toys R Us – Saturday, October 10th, Star Wars Reads Day. Read more, you must! Join Disney Store on Saturday, October 10th as we celebrate Star Wars Reads Day in a celebration of all things from that galaxy far, far away and the joy of reading for all ages. Come on in for awesome activities including Star Wars Trivia and Star Wars Story Time

Williams Sonoma Free Cooking Classes – This has been on my bucket list for a long time because I think my daughter would LOVE it! You do have to register in advance, but they’ve got the schedule posted for the whole month!
