Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).
My top pick for this week is the Bank of America Museums on Us! If you’re a Bank of America card holder (this includes debit cards!) or a Merrill Lynch card holder, you can get free admission to over 150 museums nationwide! In my area, this includes The Children’s Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts!

Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Bass Pro Shops – Free weekend events vary by store location and include camping workshops, food sampling and more!
Barnes & Noble – Saturday, February 6th at 1 1 a.m., storytime and activities featuring the children’s book Silly Wonderful You.
Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, February 6th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids can make a Lots of Love Suncatcher.
Lowes Build and Grow – Saturday, February 13th at 10 a.m., kids can build a Valentine’s Day Picture Frame. Class includes a free apron, goggles and patch. Register here for this class and to too upcoming classes.
Michael’s – Saturday, February 6th from 1-3 p.m., Fun Family Craft Time: Chalkboard Frames. Gather your family and friends and join us for an afternoon of fun. We will decorate sweet heart-shaped frames with chalkboard paint and chalk markers, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Supplies are included when you buy the frame

Pottery Barn Kids – Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – Saturday, February 9th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., kids can make a Valentine’s Mailbox. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last

Williams Sonoma Free Cooking Classes – This has been on my bucket list for a long time because I think my daughter would LOVE it! You do have to register in advance, but they’ve got the schedule posted for the whole month!
