laptop….why does everything have to be so expensive nowadays? It wasn’t like that when I went to school. These kids’ school list consist of mostly stuff for the school. Doesn’t the schools get money for each child that goes there? Why do parents have to supply extra stuff like kleenex, clorox wipes and hi liters? It’s just crazy.

hmmm….most expensive back to school item this year, was the prepacked back to school supply kits for both kids…$80! I paid for sheer convenience…was worth it.
Kristina – for what it’s worth, I did the same thing! After running all over town to get all the specialty items for the kindergarten pack for my daughter three years ago, I decided that I wasn’t going to mess with that with my son. I ended up spending about the same anyway because you had to go to teacher supply stores to get some of the items.

i would have to agree i’m a sophomore in college and the scientific calculator has got to be my most expensive bought, veryyyy efficient and smart though!

We homeschool… We spend more money on ink and paper than just about anything else when you look at the whole year.

Definitely the clothes! 2 boys are too young to care but 2 are asking for brand name (for some items). There is just no way I can dress all 4 without some great deals 🙂
