CVS:
The CVS deals for the week can be found here:

GYMBOREE:
Today (8/24) is the last day of the Circle of Friends sale (30% off your total purchase). If you are buying anything from “baby” lines (0-3 months through 5T), DO NOT buy anything that is full retail price now. The Baby Sale should start on 9/3 and everything up to $20 will be priced at $10 and everything over $20 will be priced at $20. You can use the 20% off coupon from this month’s Parenting magazine to get an even better deal! Also, the Labor Day sale should start sometime this weekend. You will get an additional 20% off clearance prices.
KROGER:
The $5 off $20 Nestle purchase goes through this week. Other deals can be found here:
http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/kroger-texas-louisiana/151045-8-20-thru-8-26-late-night-look.html
OFFICE MAX:
24 count crayons and pocket portfolios for a penny!
Lots of items for buy 2, get the third for a penny: Crayola crayons/markers/colored pencils, Bic pens/mechanical pencils/markers/correction tape, Sharpie markers/highlighters, Expo dry erase markers
TARGET: I have gotten incredibly cheap now that I have a stockpile of things from Walgreens and CVS, so I don’t see any “screaming” deals that I am going to run out for.
The Pop Tarts that I mentioned last week would still be a good deal (pricing may vary, but at my store, they are $1.79. With the $1/2 manufacturer’s coupons and the .50/1 Target printables, they end up being .79/each) If you have multiple manufacturer’s coupons, you could buy 10 and do the Kellogg’s mail in rebate for $10 and make $2.10 buying Pop Tarts.
All of the kid/adult underwear and socks are on sale, so now is a good time to stock up on those if you need them.
There are Back to School t-shirts for $4, polos for $5, and jeans for $7.
They have lots of storage bins and storage pieces on sale ($3.78-14.99)
You can get a $5 Target card when you buy Viva paper towels (priced at $14), Scott toilet paper (priced at $14), a box of Huggies diapers (priced at $18.99), or Cottonelle toilet paper (priced at $13)
Target partyware is 2/$5 and there is a $3/15 coupon on afullcup.com, so if you need paper plates and plastic cups, it’s not a bad deal.
WALGREENS:
*Dawn dish soap – 99 cents with in ad coupon – use your .50/1 P&G coupon for .49 dish soap
*Edy’s/Dreyer’s ice cream – 2/$5 (not too bad, and better if you have coupons)
*Power Ade – 89 cents – use your $1/1 coupons if you still have them
*Ball Park franks – 2/$4 (use your $1/2 coupon)
*Peter Pan peanut butter – 3/$5 – use your $1/1 from All You magazine = .66 peanut butter!
*Trident Xtra Care – .99 – there were coupons for .75/1 recently
*Reynold’s Wrap – .89 – there are coupons out there for $1/1, .75/1, .55/1 and $1/2 – makes for cheap or free foil!
*Glade scented oil warmer – $4.79 (BOGO store deal) – use the $4/1 Glade coupon and then send in the MIR for $2 for each one. Make $3.21!
*Huggies – $9.49, get $2 RR (use $1/1 coupon) – don’t forget to save your receipt to submit to Caregivers!
**Don’t forget to submit your August EasySaver Rebate receipts! There are “double dip” days this week (8/29 and 8/30). I have never done this before, but the details can be found here:
http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/walgreens/145839-aug-sept-esr-double-dips-aug-29-30-only.html
**If you haven’t gotten your Kellogg’s rebate yet, the RR are still printing through 8/30. There are still cereals on sale 4/$10 and Pop Tarts, Rice Krispie treats, etc. on sale 2/$4. You get a $5 RR when you spend $10.
Many stores also have their Walgreens diapers marked down to $5.99 (they are reported to be in a red and white package). Use the $5/2 coupon in the Easy Saver catalog and get diapers for $2.99/each. I haven’t tried these personally, but people on message boards I visit have reported that they like them.
If you haven’t wrapped up your back to school shopping yet or you want to get something for yourself for a change, Old Navy has CHEAP jeans today only! The baby/kids jeans are $7 each and the men and women’s jeans are $12 each.
You can find the jeans that are on sale here:
http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/category.do?cid=42369&tid=onemsd081&ev=OGR8222008&di=30951889&cd=ONC_OPR
The sale is good in store or online. If you shop online, they have $7 flat rate shipping. With gas prices as crazy as they are, depending on where your Old Navy store is, that might be cheaper than going to the actual store.
There is a limit of 3 pairs.
Happy shopping!
I got this coupon in my e-mail and thought I’d share. It’s good for $5 off a $20 purchase:
http://www.walgreens.com/hotbuys/default.jsp?ec=hn579_getcoupon
Here’s the fine print:
Valid in Walgreens stores on Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23, only during regular store hours. Excludes alcohol, tobacco, prescriptions, prescription copays, gift cards, pre-paid cards, and items prohibited by law. Purchase amount of $20 or more must be before taxes and after coupons and discounts. Limit one coupon per customer.
There are also coupons for 39 cent Papermate pens and mechanical pencils, 39 cent erasers, a 39 cent writing tablet, and 39 cent Sharpies.
There are lots of “free after rebate” items in the Easysaver catalog this month so you could get money back. They also do refills on ink cartridges – $10 for black and $15 for color.
The weekly Walgreens deals are in this thread here:
http://melziemomsbargains.blogspot.com/2008/08/this-weeks-bargains-817-823.html
I will probably do this:
Buy 6 Skippy peanut butter – $10 (get $4 RR)

Buy 2 Pert Plus – $3.79 (free after rebate on one)
Buy 3 Papermate pencils/pens – $1.17 (.39/each)
Buy 3 Sharpies – $1.17 (.39/each)

Buy 2 Bic products – spend at least $3.12 (these are “fillers”)
Use:
3 $1/2 Skippy coupons
2 $2 off Pert Plus coupons
Walgreens in ad coupons for Papermate, Sharpies, writing tablets
$1/2 Bic products
$5/20 Walgreens coupon
Spend $15, get $4 RR, $3.79 Walgreens rebate, and $5 rebate for the ‘school supplies’ from Pert
