Yesterday I posted about how the Weekly Cinema website was “down” and that the future of those Weekly Cinema deals that many of us took advantage of was uncertain. If you bought your deal through Groupon, they have really stepped up to the plate – I am so pleased with their customer service! My full refund was already in my account!

If you purchased your deal from Buy With Me, the “future” is a little bit more uncertain, but it does sound like they are trying to do something:

Thank you for contacting us. We are aware that the Weekly Cinema website is not available to redeem your codes from our promotion. We have been in contact with the Weekly Cinema team to resolve this issue immediately.
This is not a typical practice for BuyWithMe or our merchants, as we expect the best services and deals for our customers! We take immense pride in handpicking quality merchants with great offers that we all want to buy together. That obviously includes certainty of service.
We appreciate your patience while we iron out the details with Weekly Cinema. You will receive an email from us next week with a solution for your Weekly Cinema code.

I too was so excited to see that, especially since I had helped my grandma sign up for the deal. I was worried she would never do an online deal again :-)! Way to go Groupon!!!
