Helpful Tips:
- Be sure to bring proof of military service, uniform photo or be in uniform. Proof of military service varies by company. Acceptable forms of ID include (but not limited to) DD214, Military ID, Retired Military ID, Drivers License with Veteran designation, American Legion/VFW/AMVET Membership Card.
- Pay attention to the dates on the Veteran’s Day offers
- Many of the restaurants free meals are for dine in only.
- Many of these promotions include small print that says participating locations only. Unfortunately individual franchisees may choose not to participate. Fortunately, some franchisee’s participate even if the corporate company does not. Please call the restaurant before you leave home to make sure they are taking part.

- Uno Chicago Grill – Veterans and active duty military will get a free entree or individual pizza with the purchase of an entree or pizza of equal or greater value at Uno’s on November 11, 2013. Military ID is required.

- Free Entrance Into National Parks – This freebie is in honor of Veterans Day but everyone can take part in it. Over 100 national parks will waive admission fees on November 9-11, 2013 in honor of Veteran’s Day.
- Free Admission Into Knott’s Berry Farm – From November 4-27, 2013, veterans and those on active military duty can get free admission to Knott’s Berry Farm for themselves and one other
- Free Haircuts at Sports Clips – Veterans and active duty U.S. service members can stop into participating Sports Clips on Monday, November 11, 2013 to get a free haircut.
- Free Night Lodging at B&B’s Around the Country – Vets can stay the night at over 200 participating B&B’s and inns around the country on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11, 2013. Reservations for your free stay can be made now and are only available while supplies last. There are also many Canadian B&Bs participating this year.
- Home Depot and Lowe’s– The 10% military discount is available to: Active-duty military members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, honorably discharged veterans and immediate family members of all those groups are eligible. Customers requesting a discount must be able to show a valid military ID card or other proof of military service (a DD Form 214 or VFW membership may qualify).

- Seaworld Parks & Entertainment Veterans Discount Veterans get 50% off tickets now through November 11th, 2013. Active Duty military members who already used their free admission for the year can also get 50% off tickets

- Brides Across America Free Wedding Gown Events
During the month of November Brides Across America is partnering with bridal salons across the nation to giveaway wedding dresses to qualified military brides. All military brides must pre-register online.
