My husband and I absolutely love churros! My fond affection for these delicious treats began when I was very young, but my husband didn’t have the pleasure of tasting one until our Honeymoon at Disneyland. Once he took his first bite, there was no going back. We had churros with every meal for the next three days! Unfortunately, churros are not really the kind of thing that you can easily whip up at home so we haven’t really had many over the last ten years. I am excited to try out this recipe for Churro Waffles. They look so yummy and just might be the perfect thing to cure my frequent churro cravings. Thanks Chica Chocolatina Bakeshop!

10 years with no churros! isn’t there a local mexican restaurant/grocer near you!?
Well, we were spoiled growing up in a border town. All churros are not created equally. We have lots of Mexican restaurants, but the churros are lacking everywhere I’ve tried them. We did have some at Disney World last summer that were pretty good, though! 🙂
