This year, we decided to make our Spring Break a “Staycation” and decided to spend the week doing fun things in our area. Whether you’re going out of town this year or staying home, the City Pass is a budget-friendly option to help you see several attractions!
How it works:
City Pass is a ticket booklet that contains admission tickets for five or six popular attractions in major cities at a heavily discounted rate (usually about 50% off regular admission prices!). You can order your City Pass online here or you can purchase it at the ticket window of any of the attractions included within the City Pass. If you order your City Pass online, you can print out your pass and activate it at the ticket window of any of the attractions that are included. You will then receive a booklet with all of your tickets and from that point on, you can skip the lines and go right to the entry gate! Once you activate the pass, you have nine days to use all of the tickets (14 days in southern Cailfornia).
Here are the participating cities:
-Atlanta
-Boston
-Chicago
-Hollywood
-Houston
-New York
-Philadelphia
-San Francisco
-Seattle
-Southern California (includes 3 day admission to Disneyland PLUS admission to Universal Studios, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo or San Diego Safari Park)
-Toronto
I bought City Passes for my family yesterday and we spent our first day at the local zoo! The children’s passes were $29 in my area and we saved over $20 by buying the City Pass. The adult passes were $39 and we saved over $26 by buying the City Pass!
