I’ve been talking a lot about ways that you can save for a “cash Christmas” this year! Swagbucks is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite ways to save money for Christmas and to get items our family needs all year round! Check out what I got for free thanks to the Amazon gift cards I earned from Swagbucks! I wish I could pay the bills with my Swagbucks, but since that’s not an option, I use them for the next best thing – gift cards that I can use for things we really need. I guess it’s questionable as to whether or not we really “need” the Rice Krispies treats, but no one in my house was complaining!
If you haven’t signed up for Swagbucks yet, it’s a PERFECT time! You’ll earn 100 bonus Swagbucks when you sign up here and enter the code 5For5–>Swagbucks registration (the code is valid through 10/17/11 at 11:59 p.m. PT!)
Once you’ve signed up, you can earn a possible 500 Swagbucks bonus if you do the following: this promotion is valid through the end of November, so you’ve got time!
- Get at least 5 new referrals who are NOT members of your household
- Earn referral must earn at least 50 Swagbucks after joining (not including the sign-on bonus)
- Your 500 Swagbucks bonus will be credited at the end of the month when your five referrals earn their 50 Swagbucks. There is a limit of one bonus per person
If you’re not familiar with Swagbucks, you earn “Swagbucks” by searching online and your Swagbucks can then be redeemed for gift cards or other prizes and merchandise. I typically redeem mine for Amazon gift cards and I have used those gift cards to pay for a number of Christmas gifts the past two years. I plan to do it again this year!

Can Swagbuck members also participate in this? Can I get 5 new referrals, etc???
Deborah – I’m guessing so, but I’m not 100% sure? You can try e-mailing them to ask…
