Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).

My top pick for this week is the Bank of America Museums on Us! If you’re a Bank of America card holder (this includes debit cards!) or a Merrill Lynch card holder, you can get free admission to over 150 museums nationwide! In my area, this includes The Children’s Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts!

Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Barnes & Noble – Saturday, January 2nd at 11 a.m., storytime and activities featuring the children’s book Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast.
Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, January 2nd from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids can make a Silly Slithering Snake.
Lowes Build and Grow – The next class will not be until Saturday, February 13th at 10 a.m. where kids can make a picture frame. Free apron, goggles and patch are included. Register for this class here
Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – The next class will be Saturday, January 2nd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., where kids can make a Kung Fu Panda 3 Spinning Box. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last

Williams Sonoma Free Cooking Classes – This has been on my bucket list for a long time because I think my daughter would LOVE it! You do have to register in advance, but they’ve got the schedule posted for the whole month!
