Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).
Here are the rest of the free activities for the week:
American Girl – Spring Seekers Scavenger Hunt. Think SPRING! Your girl can welcome a fresh new season with a scavenger hunt filled with all things spring. As she explores the store, she’ll find seven fun activities, and receive some super-sweet stickers at the end! Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8 and up.
Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Bass Pro Easter events – Saturday, April 12th and Sunday April 13th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., kids can meet the Eater Bunny and get a FREE 4×6″ picture with him. From 1-4 p.m. they can color a plaster egg. Then stick around for the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. Registration for that begins at 1:30 at the main entrance.
-Monday through Thursday, April 14-17 from 6-8 p.m. you can get a FREE picture with the Easter Bunny and on Friday, April 18th from 2-7 p.m.
Disney Store – “it’s a small world” event at Disney Store! Come celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic Disney Parks attraction. Kids ages 3 and up are invited to take a journey on an imaginary boat ride around the globe. Along the way, kids will learn how to say hello in various languages and sing-along to “it’s a small world.” Visit us from April 10 – 13 to participate. On Saturday, April 12 all stores will hold the event at 11am. *Call your local store for more details.
Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, April 12th from 11-3 pm, kids can make a What’s Happening? Write and Wipe Schedule.
Lowes Build and Grow – Saturday, April 12th at 10 a.m. Kids can make a recycling truck. Register for this class as well as other future classes here.
Michael’s Crafts – Make FREE Bunny Pom Pom Garland on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Check back for more fun, FREE classes for the whole family.
Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Peter Rabbit Character Appearance (Check your store for dates and details)
-Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – See Adult Weekly workshops here. (Landscape Design, Lawn Maintenance, Install Vinyl Flooring)
Toys R Us – Saturday, April 12th from 12-2 p.m., The Lego Movie Building Event (back by popular demand)! Build Emmet’s car from the movie and then transform it into something awesome!
