Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).

The event I look forward to EVERY year is back!
Make sure you take advantage of Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops. They’ve got free events every day through December 24th including:
- Free 4X6 photo with Santa
- Free Activities such as a Foam Toy and Laser Arcade and moving trains
- Free crafts
- Free Outdoor Plush Buddy to the first 100 kids each week night between 5 and 7 pm
NOTE: You can also get a Bass Pass which will give you a designated time to return to Santa’s Wonderland for your photo so you don’t have to wait in line!
Here are the free activities for the week:
Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Barnes & Noble – Saturday, December 19th at 11 a.m., Storytime and Activities featuring How to Catch Santa!
Disney Store – Join us each night beginning Friday, November 27th through Thursday, December 24th, for Disney Store’s kiss goodnight and new holiday family tradition, Holiday Wishes. Share the Magic and make a selfless holiday wish for someone special this season! Monday – Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, December 19th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids can make Cheerful Card Holders.
Lowes Build and Grow – The next class will not be until Saturday, February 13th at 10 a.m. where kids can make a picture frame. Free apron, goggles and patch are included. Register for this class here
Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – The next class will be Saturday, January 2nd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., where kids can make a Kung Fu Panda 3 Spinning Box. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last

Williams Sonoma Free Cooking Classes – This has been on my bucket list for a long time because I think my daughter would LOVE it! You do have to register in advance, but they’ve got the schedule posted for the whole month!
