Looking for some free family fun this weekend? Here is a round up of free activities and events. It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).
Here are the rest of the free activities for the week:
American Girl – Friends Forever Bracelet Craft. Each journey is worth remembering! At this event, your girl will get the chance to make friendship bracelets for herself and her My American Girl® doll. She can even put a special message on the bracelets, creating a long-lasting memory! Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8 and up.
-Springtime Card Craft. Encourage your girl to celebrate spring by making and decorating a fancy flower card and matching envelope. She’ll use stickers and pretty paper to make her card “bloom,” then add a fun message on the inside. Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8 and up
Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs
Bass Pro Easter events – Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., kids can meet the Eater Bunny and get a FREE 4×6″ picture with him. From 1-4 p.m. they can create a bunny frame or scratch art bunny craft. Then stick around for the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. Registration for that begins at 1:30 at the main entrance.
Disney Store – Celebrate Earth Day at Disney Store! Visit any Disney Store on April 22, 2014 and receive a FREE Disneynature Bears Reusable Tote Bag when you bring in 5 plastic bags. *Limit 1 tote bag per guest. While supplies last. Call your local store for details
Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.
Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, April 19th from 11-3 pm, kids can make a Sunny Days Light Catcher.
Lowes Build and Grow – There is no class this week. The next class will be on Saturday, May 10th at 10 a.m. Kids can make a Flower Delivery Truck. Register for this class as well as other future classes here.
Michael’s Crafts – Check back for more fun, FREE classes for the whole family.
Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.
Pottery Barn Kids – Peter Rabbit Character Appearance (Check your store for dates and details)
-Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.
The Home Depot – The next kid’s class will be on May 2nd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. where kids can build a flower planter. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Register for this class as well as other future classes here.
