CVS: BOGO free coupon policy changes

TLC’s Extreme Couponing strikes again (at least that’s MY opinion):  CVS is announcing some changes to their coupon policy with respect to Buy One, Get One free coupons.

-You CANNOT use a BOGO FREE MQ AND a $/1 MQ together for 2 items
-You CANNOT use (2) $/1 MQ’s on a CVS BOGO Sale (you can only use 1)

My store has actually been enforcing this for awhile now.  What I’m hoping CVS will do is actually put a coupon policy in writing the way that Walgreens did a few months ago instead of leaving decisions regarding coupons up to store employees and managers.

Do you feel that TLC’s Extreme Couponing is ruining couponing for everyone?  Make sure you check out my post on “Is TLC’s Extreme Couponing ruining it for legitimate couponers” here to see my thoughts on this!

(Thanks Coupon Clippin Daddy for the heads up on these changes)

This really bums me out!! This type of sale was the reason I started coupon shopping. There was a purex BOGO deal with purex BOGO printable and I couldn’t believe that there was seriously a way to ever get FREE laundry detergent. I was hooked since.

My local CVS told me that with the BOGO you have to pay for one item so you really can’t use them if the item is already a BOGO instore.

  3. There are 2 CVS’ here that I use one will let you use 2 coupons on a BOGO free sale, like when the Schick Hydros were on sale BOGO I could use 2 of the $4/1 coupons, however the other does not.
