Now that your “big” kids are back in school, you can take your little ones to Chuck E. Cheese and you don’t have to deal with the crowds or bust your budget doing it! Get your friends or your MOPS group together and go! My kids love Chuck E. Cheese and we go there regularly.
Here are some tips for making the most of your Chuck E. Cheese experience:
- Sign up for the Chuck E Cheese e-club (you’ll get great coupons and free token offers such as 20 free tokens on your child’s birthday or 10 free tokens for completing reward calendars)
- Play the Chuck E Cheese skee ball game online before you go – you’ll get FREE tickets!
- Go early – We always go shortly after they open because it is usually not very crowded, which means it’s easier to keep an eye on my kids and they don’t get frustrated about waiting in line for rides and games.
- Set a budget – My kids know that we only have a set amount of tokens each trip and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Once we run out of tokens, they can play in the play structure (it’s free) and if there are any tantrums, we leave!
Thanks to the Chuck E Cheese e-club, I haven’t had to spend “real” money on tokens in a LONG time!
Here are some of the freebie offers from the Chuck E Cheese e-club:
-20 free tokens on your child’s birthday (I believe the coupon is valid for the entire month of your birthday, but I can’t remember)
-15 free tokens for good grades (bring in your child’s report card)
-10 free tokens for completing a rewards calendar for 2 weeks (a food purchase is required with this one, so I usually just grab a drink for myself) – This was a great incentive for potty training for both of my kids. Other calendars include keeping your room clean, brushing your teeth, and being a good listener!
See what I mean about not needing to “buy” tokens?
