Target deals for the week of 2-13

It’s a pretty slow week at Target this week, but this is my “top 15” deals list.  Keep in mind that pricing may vary by area. Always check your local ad to confirm that they have the “weekly deals.”  Some of these deals were not listed in the weekly ad, which means YMMV in terms of pricing.  Thanks to Totally Target for the heads up on many of the price cuts!

Get Text Alerts from Target: receive coupons, deals, and weekly ad reminders on your mobile phone – use a barcode that can be scanned at check-out for multiple one time only coupon deals throughout the month.  The text alerts for mobile coupons appear to be released on Sundays and appear to be valid for one week only (when the new round is released on Sundays, the old round disappears).

Now, you can save 5% when you use your Target Red Card. (This is valid in stores only)

Target now offers price matching. You can check out their policy here.

At Target, you can use one Target coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per item. The printable Target coupons now state “one per transaction” meaning you can only use one “like” coupon per transaction. The Target coupons from the inserts do not have this wording and neither do the Target toy coupons. You can read/print their coupon policy here.

They are also offering a .05 credit when you bring in your own reusable shopping bag!

The best deal this week (in my opinion) is the 20 count Electrasol gel pacs or tablets.  They are on price cut – 2/$5.  Use the $2.25/1 coupon from the 1-2 SS insert and the $.50/1 Target coupon from the 2-13 SS insert (make sure you give the Target coupon last!) and you’ll end up with $.25 overage per box!  Make sure you have enough items to “cover” the overage!

Ken and Barbie: She Said Yes set for just $5!

Right now, Mattel has the Ken and Barbie: She Said Yes set for just $5! This set will only be available from 2/13-2/20 and there is a limit of five per customer.

If you are “new” to shopping at the Mattel site, you can sign up for e-mails and they will send you a link for 10% off.  Shipping is a flat rate of $5.99, so you get more bang for your buck if you order more sets.  The total, shipped, for five sets was $28.49, so that’s just $5.70 per doll!  For that price, put some away in your gift closet for cheap birthday gifts down the road or go in with some other friends and split the cost!

Target also reportedly has the dolls in stores (if you can find them) for $5 and they are $5 online here.  Shipping starts at $5.75, but you have to pay tax, too, so the Mattel deal ends up being a better deal.

ETA:  The dolls have also reportedly been found for $5 at Toys ‘R Us and Walmart, so keep your eyes open if you don’t want to do the online deal.

Share your Savings Sunday!

Welcome to “Share Your Savings” Sunday! Facebook has changed the profile for their fan pages to be more like the “regular” Facebook pages where there are pictures along the time. Mine is sadly very empty right now. I could go through and fill it with pictures of my stockpile or shopping trips, but I’d rather share YOUR savings!

So, here’s the deal — share your pictures from your awesome shopping trips on my Facebook page here and on Wednesday (2/16) morning, I’ll pick two posters (using random.org) who will win $25 Restaurant.com gift cards!  Make sure you include “Share Your Savings Sunday” with your photo and it’d be awesome to see what your out of pocket was!

I can’t wait to see all of your great deals!
