Download 32 FREE kid MP3s from Sprout!

Right now, you can download 32 kid friendly MP3s from Sprout! It includes favorites such as “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” along with favorite songs from Sprout such as the “Brusha Brusha Brusha” song. Each song also includes a page of printable lyrics! My kids love Sprout and I think they’ll love all of these songs, too!

Walgreens ad updates: cheap diapers and moneymakers on Reach and Clearasil!

The “W” (Walgreens brand) premium diapers and training pants are BOGO free this week.  If you have the Walgreens Infant Care book that I posted about here, you can score some really cheap diapers this week!  The booklet includes a coupon for $2 off W diapers.

Spring Break Fun for Kids: Edible playdough!

Are you looking for fun, budget-friendly ways to entertain your kids during spring break before the boredom sets in? How about making edible playdough? Your kids can help make it and if they eat it, no worries!  I have ingredients for most of these recipes already in my stockpile!

Here are some fun edible playdough recipes from across the blogosphere:

Peanut Butter Playdough – This recipe from “Make and Takes” is a personal favorite for me because I love peanut butter and so do my kids!  All you need is peanut butter, honey, and powdered sugar.  These are three things we have on hand already – yay!

Kool Aid Playdough – This recipe is from DLTK kids and is a great way to use up some of those Kool Aid packets.  The colors are great, too!  All you need for this recipe is flour, salt, a Kool Aid packet, water, and vegetable oil!

Marshmallow Playdough – This recipe from The Paisley Cupcake combines two favorites (marshmallows and peanut butter) and I’m not sure we’d even make it to the playdough stage while making it!!  All you need is large marshmallows, a spoon, peanut butter, and wet wipes for clean-up!

Last, but certain not least – how about some CHOCOLATE Playdough?  Shabby Chic Crafts has a recipe for Chocolate Playdough.  All you need is flour, cocoa powder, salt, cream of tartar, oil, and water.  She even has some great suggestions for “dressing it up” to give away as gifts!

Get a free sample of Purex with Zout!

Right now, you can get a free sample of Purex with Zout here! It has Purex detergent and Zout pre-treater all in one and will work in all types of washing machines. I’m so excited to try it out!

It does say that it will take about 12 weeks for your sample to arrive and at the end, you have an option to get a printable coupon instead of waiting for the sample.  I decided to wait!
