Buy Home Essentials at Soap.com

Soap.com has a HOT promotion going on right now:  their Disney and Marvel kids vitamins are Buy One, Get One free!  Plus, there is a $1 off e-coupon that you can apply to this promotion!  The 60 count bottles are $6.99, so you can get two for $5.99 after you apply the e-coupon and the 180 count bottles are $13.99, so you can get a year’s supply of kid vitamins for $12.99 after the e-coupon is applied!  Make sure that you shop through Shop at HomeThey’re offering 11% cash back right now!  Plus, you will get a $5 bonus if you sign up for the first time here.  If you are not familiar with Shop at Home and want more information, check out this post here.

If you’re a first time customer, here’s how to get even MORE bang for your buck:

1.  Log into your Shop at Home account (or create one here if you don’t have one yet)

2.  Search for Soap.com, click on it, and then click on the blue “shop now” button

3.  Once you get to Soap.com, click here to see the participating vitamins

4.  Add two 180 count vitamins to your cart (you can also add four 60 count vitamins, but we’re talking about how to get the most bang for your buck, which is with the 180 count!)

5.  Click on check out and enter the code VALPAKSOAP1, which will give you 20% off plus free shipping!  Please note:  This code is only valid on your first order.   Your total should be $10.79 and then you’ll get $1.19 cash back from Shop at Home, so you end up paying $9.60.  Not bad for a year’s supply of kid vitamins!

NOTE:  If this is your second order with Soap.com, you can enter the code VALPAKSOAP2 to save 20% off.  People have also reported being able to get the code SOAPDEAL30 to work.  None of these codes worked for me because I’ve ordered from them MANY times, but that’s OK because even without the codes, it’s still a great deal!

The following shipping rates apply if you are not a first time customer:
-Purchase of $39+ = FREE shipping
-$25-$39 = $2.99 shipping (this is based on pre-discount/coupon totals, so if you order two 180 count vitamins, this is the shipping rate that will apply to you)
-Less than $25 = $4.99

The last time they offered this deal, the vitamins went FAST, so I recommend jumping on it quickly if you’re interested!

Frequently asked questions:

Do you really do multiple transactions at your stores?

In the past, I usually had $20-30 ECB on hand, so I didn’t have to break up my transactions as much as I did when I first started, but now that I am starting over, yes, I am doing multiple transactions. If you are doing multiple transactions, I recommend that you let the cashier know up front that is what you are planning to do. If there are several people in line, let them go in between your transactions. This gives you time to clip your ECBs and get prepared for your next transaction.

My store was out of all the freebie items first thing this morning. Can I get a raincheck?

This all depends on your store. I have contacted corporate about this before because some stores in my area give rainchecks and others won’t. According to corporate, this is up to the individual stores.

I bought the wrong item or I bought the RIGHT item and my ECB didn’t print. What can I do?

If you bought the right item, show the store clerk your ad and your receipt. They should be able to manually print your ECB at the store. If they don’t know how, you can call customer service and they can add one to your account that will print within 48 hours (you have to wait 48 hours from your purchase time to do this so they can “see” your transaction in their computer).

If you bought the wrong item and didn’t receive ECBs, you can do a return and purchase the correct item. If you paid using ECBs, they will have to give you money on a gift card.

New Lean Pockets printable = FREE or cheap Lean Pockets!

There is a HOT new printable for $1/1 Lean Pockets when you like them here on Facebook!

Here are the best deals I see this week for using this coupon:  keep in mind that both of these store ads end on Tuesday, 3/22

HEB (Texas shoppers) – the Hot Pockets are $5/5 this week and this should include the Lean Pockets, so they should be FREE after coupon!  A minimum $10 purchase is required, but there are plenty of great deals in the ad, so this shouldn’t be a problem!  Remember, you can also take the HEB ad to Walmart and price match.

Randalls (Texas shoppers) or other Safeway affiliate stores – There is a “super coupon” for $1.59 Hot Pockets or Lean Pockets in the ad this week, so they will be $.59 after coupon.  A minimum purchase of $10 is required, but they also have lots of great deals in their ad this week!

Bath and Body Works: America’s Biggest Fragrance Event!

If you’re out shopping or running errands today, stop by a Bath and Body Works store between 1 pm and 5 pm to check out America’s Biggest Fragrance Event!

The event will feature the following:

-Free tote and full size Country Chic body lotion with the purchase of any full size Signature Collection item

-Fragrance personality quiz

-Free consultation with a fragrance expert

-The opportunity to vote for the next summer fragrance

Get all the details hereThere is also a printable coupon for a free travel-sized item with any purchase hereIt says that it may not be combined with other offers, so YMMV on being able to use it, but since the free tote offer doesn’t involve a coupon it might work!

Walmart’s coupon policy update

A few weeks ago, I posted here about Walmart’s updated coupon policy.  The new policy has generated lots of excited, especially because you can now get “overage” when you use coupons there and buy a product using a coupon that has a higher value than the price of the actual product.  The other item that generated excitement was the opportunity to use store catalina coupons.  I was able to do this at my store when I tried, but I have gotten e-mails from others who have had mixed experiences.

Walmart has now updated their coupon policy to include the following clarification about the catalina coupons they will accept:

Checkout coupons (“Catalinas”)

  • Printed at our competitors’ registers for dollar/cents off on a specific item
  • Must have “Manufacturer Coupon” with specific item requirements printed on them
  • Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer
  • Must have a valid expiration date
  • Must have a scannable bar code
  • Are acceptable in black and white
  • May not be duplicated

Because it now specifics “specific item” this means you cannot use Register Rewards from Walgreens or OYNO catalinas from your grocery stores.  This is a bummer, but it’s still exciting that you can get overage!

You can print the updated Walmart coupon policy here.
